Today, March 20th, is the first day of spring and we are ready to celebrate with all of our amazing events and DIY workshops in April! We even put together a printable calendar that you can download, print, and hang on your fridge so you never miss a thing!

APRIL EVENTS AT LAKE & LOCAL
Saturday, April 1st - 3rd Annual Hop & Shop and Spring Mini Family Sessions
The Greensboro Business Association presents the 3rd Annual Hop & Shop with the Easter bunny making his way around the shops and restaurants from 10am-12pm, then hanging out in our garden from 1pm-3pm. We'll have activities and treats throughout the day, too!
And, Alexis Ann Photography is back for Spring Mini Sessions in the garden! Sign up for your family photo session with time slots every 15 minutes beginning at 10am and ending at 12pm.

Wednesday, April 5th - Saturday, April 8th - Spring Break Craft Camp
Each afternoon at 1:30pm, kids can enjoy a fun hands-on craft activity beginning with Nature Pinch Pots on April 5th, followed by a Painted Plant Pot on April 6th, Burlap Bunny Signs on April 7th, and finally, a Painted Name Sign on April 8th.

Wednesday, April 12th - Pet Lovers DIY Wood Sign Workshop
Pet lovers, come sip some wine and learn to paint a beautiful wood sign to celebrate your furry friends! Signs vary in price based on size. We have five designs to choose from, with something for both cat and dog parents!

Saturday, April 22nd - Cookie Decorating Workshop
Julie Rogers of Cookies Because is the incredibly talented cookie-maker leading this workshop. Enjoy two hours of hands-on instruction while learning to make a dozen spring cookies. You'll also receive all of Julie's cookie and icing recipes, a scribe tool, and a bakery box to take home your beautiful creations!

Wednesday, April 26th - Boss's Brunch: Canva 101
Learn how to use Canva, a powerful (and free!) online graphic design tool. This workshop includes brunch and will help you understand how to navigate the Canva platform, create graphics of various sizes and styles, use effects, and much more.

Saturday, April 29th - Spring Bud Vase Pottery Workshop
Madison-based pottery artist, Lauren Martin, has her work showcased in the Madison Artist's Guild, and will be leading this Lunch & Learn workshop. She will teach participants how to hand-throw three spring bud vases, as well as apply a light glaze before taking them home to fire and finish. Participants will receive a textured tray as a gift, and lunch is included.
