During our first full year in business in 2022, events became our bread & butter. When reflecting on the year that was and looking ahead with plans for growth, it only made sense for us to expand our workshop space, offering more options for the community and potentially more capacity for private events using our venue.

During 2022, we hosted 30+ classes, workshops, and other events like wine tastings and garden parties. When events were held indoors, we utilized our 400 sq. ft. multipurpose room, The Statham Room, in the rear of the building.

While this worked out very well, it did have its limitations. For one, we as the business owners didn't get to enjoy the fun when classes were held during business hours. We were in the front running the retail portion of the store while our guests were tucked away in the back room for their class.
In addition, from a marketing perspective, no one walking by could tell that we were having an event at all. We thought it would make more sense to move that space to the front of the building letting passersby see the fun!
In addition, it leaves The Statham Room open during workshops and classes so we can offer private events at the same time as our classes.

We are excited to share this new space with you! Now when you walk in the front of the space, the retail merchandise will be on the left side of the building and the workshop space will be on the right.
With this remodel, we will be expanding our class and workshop offerings, hosting at least one or two each week.
We also invite members of our community to reach out to us if you are looking for meeting space. This is a great spot for book club meetings, corporate gatherings, and so much more!
In fact, our monthly meetings for the Greensboro Business Association will now be held in this new workshop space!
