We've got a lot of fun events on our calendar this spring! Check out everything happening at Lake & Local:

flower wreath class lake & local

WHAT: DIY Burlap Flower Wreath Class
WHEN: Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:30am
COST: $70 per person, includes lunch

Local maker Debra Casebere will lead a group as you learn to make these gorgeous flower wreaths for your front door. Choose either pink or yellow, and enjoy lunch prior to the class.

wine tasting

WHAT: Ladies Night Out Wine Tasting
WHEN: Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 6-8pm
COST: $20 online, $25 at the door

We've partnered with Oconee Beverage to host a fun Wine Tasting for our next Ladies Night Out. Cost includes all the wines you'll taste and hors d'oeuvres, as well as discounts throughout the night. 

southland jubilee

WHAT: Southland Jubilee
WHEN: Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 10am-4pm
COST: Free!

Downtown Greensboro hosts Southland Jubilee and Classic Car Show. The vendor market will be set up on North Main Street and the Classic Car Show will be set up on South Main Street. Lake & Local will have a barista on site and live music in the garden.

citrus garden class

WHAT: Citrus Garden Class
WHEN: Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 2pm
COST: $40 per person

Led by local horticulturist and designer of our garden, Tom McClendon, learn how to grow citrus in the ground in Greene County. You'll enjoy light refreshments, take home a small citrus plant, and have the opportunity to purchase larger citrus plants.

candle class

WHAT: Candle-Making Class
WHEN: Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:30am
COST: $60 per person, includes lunch

Our very own local candlemaker, Ashley Barfield of Proverbs 3:5 Candle Co, will lead participants on how to make scented soy candles. Students will be able to choose their vessel and make a double-wick candle. Lunch included.

scott deering concert

WHAT: Scott Deering & Friends Listening Session
WHEN: Friday, May 20, 2022 at 7pm
COST: $75 per person; $125 per couple

Scott Deering, along with friends Ronnie Pittman and George Nour, will hold a listening session in the garden. Tickets are limited (only 50 seats available). Tickets include 2 drink tickets per person and heavy hors d'oeuvres catered by Iron Fork. Cash bar available. Doors open at 6pm, show begins at 7pm.
